I am a South African, now living in New Zealand.  I am an ESL Tutor and a native English speaker.  I have completed the following TEFL teaching certificates:  TEFL Level 5, TEFL Teaching English to Young Learners, TEFL Online and One to One, TEFL English for Specific Purposes, TEFL Business English, and TEFL IELTS.  I also hold a certificate from English Language Partners for ESOL Home Tutoring and a Damelin Diploma in Business Management.  As you can see, I love learning and in turn, love teaching my students how to improve their own skills.  Online teaching has been my focus for the past 5 years.  The focal point of my teaching has been to teach students the fundamentals of English writing, reading, and speaking.  I enjoy this specialty of teaching and get very excited as I watch my students grow their abilities in a very short space of time. My personalized courses for each student will be motivating and engaging and will cover practical aspects of writing, reading, and speaking skills.  My plan is to create a positive learning experience for each individual student. I believe that my patience and steady perseverance afford my students to feel comfortable and confident in my classes.
